The Tipton-Haynes State Historic Site has a private collection of over 1,000 artifacts. These artifacts represent Appalachian culture and history from the late 1700s through the early 1900s. Many of our artifacts are on display in our permanent exhibit and historic structures. Our collection of artifacts is entered into the Past Perfect database and are cared for by staff and dedicated volunteers. The artifacts contained within the site’s collections are not open for public use.
