Tipton-Haynes State Historic Site is operated by the non-profit organization of the Tipton-Haynes Historical Association, Inc. The Association receives limited state funding and is minimally staffed. So we appeal to the public for their continued support of this remarkable historical site.

There are many ways in which you can make a difference. Besides the state funding, the site operates mainly off of contributions from donations and by your support in being/becoming a member. By volunteering, you will help the staff with the daily operations of the site and will help keep alive our rich history. Also, we value any reliable information from descendants of the Tipton and Haynes families that will help us to protect the history and help others in their research endeavors. We greatly appreciate your support and by you choosing one or more of these options, then you will help our mission to “preserve, protect, and perpetuate the historic grounds, buildings, and artifacts of the Tipton-Haynes State Historic Site and to provide educational experiences and research opportunities to the public based on the comprehensive history of the site.”
